Staff were nice, breakfast was good however the room wasn't greatly clean. Also some parts of the hotel showing wear. The lifted carpet on the third floor on a corner by the three thirties nearly took me down but I saved my balance...that carpet needs looking at immediately. The "health club" was lacking somewhat...the pool was cold (too much so for my little one to stay in) and didn't feel/smell clean, you'd know what I mean if you were there. No express check out either, or if there was, it did t seem obvious.
Nice and quiet surroundings. Parks and green areas. Perfect for a morning run. The hotel also has a health club with a small and warm swimming pool. Friendly service. Good breakfast. Playroom for kids. All in all a very nice place to stay.

For me the 3 stars is for the beautiful old Edwardian building overlooking river views and the friendly gentleman on the reception desk. Our room had nice furnishings and the bed was lovely and comfy but sadly our double room was unbearably hot and the sash windows wouldn't stay open. Although our room had partial river views, it also overlooked the car park. There was an awful modern building dead opposite which was not in-keeping at all with the surroundings. Also because it was so close we couldn't keep our curtains open due to lack of privacy. The bar downstairs was quite grubby and when we went for breakfast in the morning, there were no staff to assist where things had run out and the toaster wasn't working. No lift due to the age of the building ( but this what we expected), so wouldn't recommend to people with walking difficulties as the stairs are quite steep. Nice hotel but could do better to make it a 4 star.
This is a very nice place to stay, right on the bridge in Maidenhead. Room clean as a whistle, good size, everything there you need, quiet, excellent self serve breakfast, masses of choice. I see reviews here that say not enough choice. What on earth do these people want? People very pleasant. Very good value for money.

Amazing hotel. Lovely friendly staff happy to help with anything. Room was lovely. Dinner again was out of this world. Breakfast was amazing as well. Thank you for making our stay so special
Such a lovely romantic break. We have a fabulous 3 course meal, our room was spacious, well equipped and had views over the gardens. The staff were all friendly and helpful.. then we finished it all off with a peaceful breakfast on the terrace this morning :)

Very nice pub. beautiful garden - more comfy than most, peaceful, quiet. Great for meeting friends and enjoying a lovely evening. Food is top notch - fabulous burger, exceptionally well cooked. (Most places overcook because, apparently, "health and safety" means you have to turn a good burger to pure carbon - but not here!) Couple of gripes: it's overpriced - some things vastly so - and a couple of the bar staff are a but curt and surly.
Great burger Given the background of this place you'd expect good things and it completely delivers. It's not the cheapest pub with food in the world but everything is done to a great standard. I had the burger which was delicious, melt in the mouth and very tasty too, one of the best I've ever had. Chips were good too.

Great pub, great couple running it - they're just terrific. It's my local, lucky me. @JennieFlower: Can't please everyone, I guess.
This pub is a very nice friendly staff and good food. There are a few vegetarian options on the menu. Good selection of larger and beer from Rebellion brewery. Nice beer garden
Bath Rd, Maidenhead SL6 4JT, UK – 01628 621649
Good Pub/Restaurant - Plenty of choice of food. Very Large meals & Hot. Staff pleasant & helpful - Very Good Service. Have been there several times - always the same. Good Service, Large meals & Very Hot. Also just had my Birthday Party there with 22 people in total. The Service was excellent & everyone got the correct meals they ordered & they all enjoyed themselves. Would recommend the Restaurant to others.
The food is always good - portions of many of the dishes are very large so take care with what you order. The service this visit wasn't great but it seemed as if the more experienced staff/manager were off & I'm sure it will be better again next 'leaving do'.

Excellent and friendly bed and breakfast. We stayed during a business trip and found everything excellent, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, and breakfast was very good. Some rooms have private bathrooms while others need to share, but this is clearly indicated so I'm not sure why anyone would complain. The owner, Laurent, was a very accommodating host and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly, he is also an excellent chef and offers dinner for a reasonable price. This place is perfect for business trips but may not be as suitable for those in the area to party (but who goes to Maidenhead to party...) since the gates are closed at 10:30 PM and quiet hours start at 11 PM.
Friendly. Clean. Comfy. Welcoming.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Lovely camp site. Well equipped. Clean and well maintained. Great location for cycling to Maidenhead or Windsor. Beautiful stretch of the River Thames. Road noise is only negative, however we had been informed of this before visiting and owners have dine everything possible to reduce impact.
Really nice place but might be closing soon to allow extension to M4 motorway which when on site is at the bottom of the site. So check availability before coming here. Owners are really nice people too.
